Just a question Robert,
Wouldn't turning your tig down help with distortion reduction, cause you chipped your shield cup you can get real close, so if by turning down your clean width or pulse width, would that not help the heat build up. Maybe thinking this wrong, but that's why I'm here.

Given the considerable undercutting, more than anything I think I was there too long. I was trying to get rid of the narrow "trough" at the center of the bead from my first attempt.
