Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Very impressive work. Thank you for posting.

May I ask about the final metal finishing? I have always wondered why the weld seams are finished differently than the rest of the panel, so they appear as a visible stripe along the panel.

Is it a tradition or is there a specific functional reason to do it?

thank you very much,
the finish is a purely optical thing.
when you work a hundred and a thousand hours,
then it needs a ritual to finish and expression for for accurate and conscientious work. ;-)

so to speak I imprint my typical handwriting with an individual stamp on my works.

When you stick all the smaller parts together for the front of the car, so you tack weld them on the buck? Do you allow the buck to get scorched? Or do you make index lines to line things up and then do the tacking on the bench? That is an amazingly complex part and it looks perfect.
