I have been enjoying this thread very much...and like it was written before...this all seems so simple & easy for you & your crew..on one point, I was thinking, do you ever make mistakes , but I guess/know you have also had your own problems, on the way, to be as talented as you are now...please keep posting your works, when you have time....

Hi jamie,

Nice weld!
How many hours did you put into the fender? From flat to finish?

Was the protection foil/plastic on the alu sheet when you bought it?
Im looking for this for paint protection, but nobody can't seem to sell it to me.Ive seen it on discovery channel one time when a factory was making kitchen machines (cooker hood?).

Sorry for the off topic.

Cheers

Jeroen, We use that same film at work. The sheet stock we get is covered if we order it that way. We also have rolls of it if we need to protect parts after they are painted.
The company we get it from is Protective Packaging. They are located here in Toronto Ontario

Its obvious from your work your quality is top notch, its the other behind the scenes stuff I find just as fascinating.

Great job on many fronts.

Thanks ty1295

Janne, like everybody, I to have made plenty of mistakes over the years, it seems for me a mistake will come after a lot of time is put in and is costly and time consuming to fix. Such is life.

Jeroen, I think it was about 8 hours start to finish to make the mud guard. The Aluminium sheet comes with plastic protective coating on it.

Ok this next group of photos are of the car just before the owner picked it up, It will be coming back for a power bulge in the bonnet side to allow for the carburettor and a windscreen has to be made also. When it returns I will continue the thread, but for now this is the end........
