Well, alright then. I'll stand over by you and just watch the tiggys, torchys, and stickers go at it. Its all metal and fire.
All my projects are just old steel cars but they are what interest me. I figured I'd just be the first to say hack, just in case my welds bombed. The idea with the name is if you're gonna have one like that, you better be good. Like the boy named Sue. I finished up that area of the Pantera fender today and only have a couple more spots to go before switching back to the '59 Pontiac or '30 Ford job. Current sheetmetal welding mission accomplished.

Thanx. I thought those are pretty comical myself.
The customer always asks what I need when he visits, and next time I plan to ask with the straightest face possible... for a more hideous set of wheels. Thats a wild goose chase though.

How about the trusty plywood shop rollers? If you see those on something, you know it is destined for greatness.

They were rusting in bare metal while stored in warehouses awaiting completion. Sad that they were already quietly rusting away when brandy-new. Maybe the earlier Mangustas fared better?

I'm not "into" Panteras. Only had to fix two small rust holes on this one. Somebody did work on it before me, though. I just fix whatever comes along.

Since I originally posted oversized pictures, I hope that adding some more won't do any additional harm now, here on this thread.
Here are some follow-up results pictures from a couple things I showed on this thread: 74 Pantera fender. I did actually end up fixing a lot more rust spots on the car in structural areas. '59 Pontiac quarter patches- '30 Ford coupe still in progress but cowl sides now also welded-
