My favorite quote from David's DVD is after he gas welded a panel onthe car he said something like "See the inside is just as tidy as the outside." I love the way the british talk.

Indeed, Ross was a great instructor. He had a way of de-mystifying what he did so that you felt comfortable trying it yourself.

Like David’s DVD.

And Bill’s new book.

Hi David,

Sorry if this was taken the wrong way.

No offense was intended. Bob Ross was a master at painting. When Bob Ross would paint he would mesmerize the audience with his skills just like you do in your DVD.

I love your DVD and the approach you take in presenting the lessons.

Tom

Thanks guys. Tom I did not put your comment and Bills comment together when I first read Bills so had to ask what he meant, it seemed a strange thing to say. I later 're-read the thread and then looked up who Bob Ross was so realised what Bill was on about, no big deal. We had a similar show with a woman painter here back in the seventies or early eighties but I had never heard of Bob. People don't always get my humour on here either.

David

David, I purchased your DVD. I agree that the imformation you provide is straight to the point, no fluff or filler. Just spot on, good stuff presented in a manner that illustrates how simply some of the work is done.

2 thumbs up!

Same with watching Bob Ross in the States, but then, I am older than that since I remember watching Ricochet Rabbit. Bing, bing, bing, Ricochet Rabbit.

Fantastic DVD David.
Each time I watch it I pick out things you hadn't said or shown the previous time I played it
As you have said so often, its practice practice practice.

Thankyou John

PS Get the roadster finished !
