Thers a couple others that make flanged punches (Mittler Bros comes to mind) where it punches and flanges in one shot. Different radius are available for automotive or aircraft standards. And they work in that HF hydraulic punch that Jim showed, and that is a very slick piece of equipment as i have a lot of greenlee tools to compare it against and it has my respect.

Default Flared holes

Perhaps Rick Scott (Heatnbeat) will contribute here. He did some flared holes using Lazze's bead roller, into which he inserted gauges. Was a pretty neat trick.

HF had it on sale and I used a 20% coupon so if it didn't work I wasn't out that much. Story had a happy ending though.

Nice simple idea, Ron. Once around with the hammer and dolly to dress it up. For more than several holes the punch and die might be worthwhile to make up. You get consistent results which may be important on a row or pattern of holes.
