Carsten is in...
Hi all
I am Carsten from Germany. I have started my first atempts in metal shaping two and a half years ago. A friend put his motorcycle in my workshop and asked me if I could make a spoiler for the tail. Sure, I said. What I didn't know was that it requires certain skills to stretch, shrink and especially weld thin sheet metal. I have picked up many of those skills ever since and even got my place stuffed with the necessary toolset like english wheel, pneumatic deepthroat shrinker-stretcher, welding equipment, stumps, mallets, dollies, etc. However, there is still a lot to learn and I hope that I can rely on you folks to give me tips when required. I promise to do the same if I can. In "real" life, I am an engineering manager with machine engineering background and car meachanic skills ... but thats another story. Looking forward to get to know metal shaping enthusiasts. Feel free to get in contact. Carsten Last edited by Carsten; 11-19-2018 at 02:30 PM. |
