Nice start. That inner flange needs to be stretched. If you have a tipping wheel you could use that to make a crease then dolly it over. I have this tool I made that fits in my post dolly stand for flanges.
It's just a washer welded to a plate with a gap. Works good to tune up flanges. Jeff |

Rob did you cut out the other side already?
At the stage you showed in the first picture I was going to recommend buying a new quarter panel. I did a search for fury replacement panels and came up empty. So it looks like you will be making it. I never cut something out until I have the new piece made. Even if it is rotten it still can be repaired good enough so you can pull a pattern from it. You need all of the info you can get. If you haven't cut out the other side please take a picture of it so we can see what's up. Or the piece you cut out.

We already have the outside repair panels. Nothing is available for the wheel well. John , you are the one who finally got me to dive into making my own panels. I have saved most of the threads you've started over on the HAMB. Thanks John, I'm really into learning how to make the metal do what you want it to.

Cool
Let's do it, Take a lot of pictures. Try to take detailed pictures because it will make it easier for the members to be able to give you advice. I have to look at the picture again because I miss read it and thought you were making the quarter panel. Thanks for sharing your project.

Rob I snapped a few pictures of some post dollies I made from a truck bumper. The bumper is 3/16, and it has some nice shapes you can plasma cut out.
Here are a few scraps I've been saving. The chrome surface is hard and resists marking too. Jeff |
