I have been around cars and metal working my entire life.I currently own Empire Radiator Service. We mostly work on large radiators and heat exchangers but do a hole lot more. One of my specialties is old radiator restorations including building tanks from scratch. This is why I joined the forum.I recently came crossed the Eckold machines and then the Pullmax machines.I think either one of these machines would greatly add to my abilities in the shop.I'm the kind of guy that buys the 10,000 machine to do the custom job and figures out how to use it more to grow my business.
I will definitely be looking for one of these machines to purchase.

Welcome James. Pullmaxes are pretty common in your area. Eckolds are really scarce and expensive. A mid size Pmax can be had for 3-5K depending on tooling...sometimes less. The cheapest used Eckold runs 10K with no tooling. What Eckolds can do that nothing else does is shrink with tooling that doesn't leave stipple marks...as well as what the Pmaxes do. However, Eckolds don't have the same throat usually.

Welcome to the forum, James.

Nice to see someone is still doing radiators. All of the shops around here are now gone.
