Default Greetings from Southern Middle TN

My name is Jim and I have been in the auto restoration business for 38 yrs. My training was in coachbuilding but being self employed I have had to learn all aspects of the business. My speciality is custombodied cars of the 20s and 30's but have worked on anything from a 1909 Pierce Arrow to new Rolls Royces and Ferrari's. Born and raised in suburban Philadelphia I moved to TN 6 years ago to pursue my dream of designing and building bodies on original classic car chassis's. I am currently building two 34 Packard boattail speedster bodies and a mahogany decked boattail for a 28 RR. My restoration project is a 47 Delage Ghia for Peeble Beach next year. Looking forward to the forum as learning should be an everyday experience.

Jim

Welcome Jim, Looks like we have a lot in common. I have been in restoration for 34 years and a lot of my work thru the years has been fabricating the wood body structures. Currently have a 31 Stutz Boattail in the shop.
We need to get together, I was not aware that you were up the road in Belfast. Dan
