The base plate is 6mm (quarter inch) so that gives you an idea of the size. I guess the car itself is about seven inches long.

Here are a couple more photos...

The wishbones were made from a couple of cheap 6mm spanners. wheels started out as washers and wheelnuts. Front axle is a bit of 1/4 rod hammered flat then I ground the detail with a 4" grinder, some with the detail on the engine and tyres.

Yes I had to curb my tendency to try and get things as good as I can and resit putting in too much detail.
