Fascinating Tube Making Video
Stumbled on this video on YouTube on how tube is made. I ended up being both fascinated and mesmerised at the same time! Well worth a watch
I couldn't help but think of Jaroslav's creations on here, due to the numerous E-wheel type rollers. Matt https://youtu.be/b02fO4Nz038 Last edited by Stretch; 03-23-2019 at 01:58 AM. |

Very cool stuff. Wish my roofing machine could do gutters and that, too....
Aside from the general power requirements for the machine and maybe welding concerns, I assume the slow feed rate speed helps keep the ss from work hardening as quickly?

Believe or not that machine was designed by a Swiss guy that lived here in OZ
I met him a few Years ago in an engineering work shop in Bayswater Melbourne What a coincidence Peter PS his company must have sold a S**t load of those machines He also designed other types with the same theory to bend U and V extrusion shapes etc

Flux core welding wire.
This is the same type of machine used for processing flux core welding wire.
