How dit you do the nose opening? Hammerform?

I started with a large panel and traced/cut out the opening. Made a dolly out of a truck axle ubolt and shape it by hand. It kept the panel sorta ridged. Then started trimming it down to fit. Shrink/stretch..etc...

Hi Ray,

How hard is it to weld on the inside of that corner going from the hood to the side? I've only welded with OA on flat or curved panels.

I decided that I need more practice and not beat my self to death on each panel. I will just keep throwing panels at it till a good set come out and I like the design. Things change and it gives me more time to work out the under structure. More scrap!

Default Where did you get the hood latch?

Where did you get the hood latch and could you show more detail as to how it works. I know this one is a pain in the.... Fred26T
