Yes I know. But it would be better if the two forums going together again!. Only one upload..... I did not understand the cut a few years ago. Maybe a linguistic or cultural problem of mine. Anyway, Metalmeet or All Metal Shaping, my posting activities could be more.

Great stuff Neil - must be heartening to see the shapes all together there.
Have you treated the panels? I can't make my mind up from the photos if you have used something or if it's light oxidation? If you haven't treated them, dunno if you have seen or can get Epiphos in Aus Neil? My local metalshaping god mate put me onto it and got me into the habit of making a part and then immediately treating it. He actually runs around in a couple of rods which are bare metal and have been treated with it. It's a clear coating which can be welded through and further formed without issue. The shell of the Group 5 was sprayed with it when it was dipped and blasted over 4 years ago and there are a couple of spots where condensation from the roof has dripped on it, but apart from that it's great. Chemetal are the suppliers here. Can be sprayed or wiped on with a rag. I used to use Keyphos 253, but reckon the Epiphos is a nicer product.

Great work Neil,
I'm watching with great interest as recently got hold of a 64 coupe, needing total restoration. There is a UK 356 specialist, Steve Kirty have a look through his work, it has some great references..https://www.facebook.com/ClassicFabrications

peter,
i always pick up little tips when i visit you just by watching. of course your initial tips on using the wheel when i first came up with the first 1/4 panel i made helped immensely thank you! richard, i bought some 'stuff' from peter, it's an acid with phosphate in it amongst other things lol, i do have some phosphate in the garage. i use the stuff i got from peter as it's just magical lol, i spray it on and watch the rust run off. i think i have seen that ephiphos in spray cans on fleabay..... martin, i will have to get my other half to log in to bragbook as i don't use it, but thank you for the link. i do enjoy watching how others make panels, especially on the same make as i am doing. thank you for the kind words guy's
