new member with Magna bend issues
I saw a post from 2010 on the magnabend not engaging the magnet when button is pushed. Any information anyone can share?
I hae a small sheet metal shop in my sculpture studio. Thanks Linda |

There is a flow switch in the unit that controls power to the magnet that allows current to stay at the mag until you release the handle . Take a meter and see if you have current going through and staying while you activate the switch .You can get a replacement from Roper but it was real expensive and was replaced with a similar one from Graingers .

Hi Linda and Welcome.
Depending on how old your Magna is there is a micro switch that is actived by the lift handle, It makes a little click sound when lifting the handle. Now if the switch is faulty, there will be no primary magnetic hold down when the button is depressed. The micro switch is adjustable and you want to try to get the adjustment, at the very start of the lift handle. Cheers John
