No problem, there John. I do hope you get your hand back to working condition. I know it's an aggravation to be working with a bad hand.

Hey, John, I just re-read your question and realize that I did not answer that clearly. What I meant was if you switch the lower TWO die holding arms, there is no need to realign the lower die position.

Default Mechammer at the upcoming Redneck Roundup

Jimmy Matthews has once again let us have his new Machammer for use during this upcoming Redneck Roundup, and also brought us the completed and complete set of the basic dies that Bens offers for this machine. A BUNCH of us are really looking forward to using this sweet and clever machine.

Default Mechammer

I'm looking forward to seeing the machine, as well as Ben's new inventions for it, that he's bringing on the plane, at the Wine Country Meet next week.

Well I'm biased regarding the Mechammer. But you guys will like what Ben has in his box of tricks for you. I saw him today prepping for the trip to the States. It's amazing to see the new stuff he keeps developing for the Mechammer. Ben is not only a nice guy and a terrific family man, he is also a great and passionate old and new school engineer.

I'm sure you guys will love it.

Kind regards,

Frank

Very interesting but I wonder what tools come with the machine? Also I wonder if you could tip less then 6mm ? Like maybe 3mm?

Default thumbnails

I am having a little difficulty with shrinking some small details. Too small for the medium sized thumb nail dies I have for my power hammer. So I wonder if any Mechammer owners have any experience with Ben's thumbnaii dies.

Hi Tim,

I have the 40mm thumbnail dies with the MH2. They work great. See some youtube videos. I’ve seen Ben succesfully play with the 40mm thumbnail dies of his Shrinky (a kind of bench size Pullmax) on the MH2. He was modifying and testdriving them to make them compatible with the MH2 principal so they will shrink and not stretch when pulling out.

I hope this helped.

Best regards,

Frank

Thanks Frank I ordered those dies. My only regret about the machine is that I haven't yet seen a live demo. Maybe Ben would like to visit the lovely Driftless region of Wisconsin. Free room and board here!
