Default help needed

i have a project in mind and would like some information on it. i am planning on building a buck to make a nose cone and grille for a mercedes w154 race car. it will be displayed at work throughout the coming year (from when it's finished) and then auctioned off towards the end of the year and the proceeds donated to charity.

if anyone has any info they could pass on that would help, that would be great.

or anyone knows someone who has a car or knows where there is one that measurements could be taken from?

hi mark, thanks for the reply. I shall PM him and ask about some images.

I didn't think I would get any dimensions of the nose cone itself, I was hoping I could get some of the grille opening and try to work from that.

I might try to take a few 1:1pics of a scale model we have here in a display case in the showroom, and see how it looks enlarged

Hi Neil,

Might be a long shot but I found this company who sell prints from 3D drawings. If it's for charity I wonder if they could be persuaded to let you have the nose cone file? It might also be another line of business for them.
