Default SERIOUS metalshaping!!!

My son sent me this photo of a car that came to his Advance Auto Parts store this afternoon. The truck apparently took a hit in the right bed behind the cab and repaired it with........

Some garage door metal.... see the panels....

Well, at least he painted it the right color...

I have seen people use old refrigerators but a 6 panel door is pretty funny.

A poor man has poor ways.

Cool! That looks like a plain old cheap home depot exterior door. I have a couple just like it on my shop.

Don't make fun Kerry. I bet it took a long time to make the hammerform to get those crisp details in that panel.

Of course he may have beadrolled them in but I doubt it as sharp as the corners came out.

Maybe it's Pullmax work with a dedicated corner making die.

Good stuff...

I know metal is harder to get down south, but come on. No Yank would ever do that.

Now Now Joe. I remember all the rusted out vehicles in PA that have the foil metal tape over the rot because PA DOT won't allow 'VISIBLE' rust.
