Default 73 Detomaso

6.jpgI was working on my 73 Detomaso ... trying to create a Group 4 Style Body out of only metal ... well mostly except the carbon fiber hood and deck lid.

Heres some pics of where I am so far.

Made this bird deflector today, a mini version off the 1936 knucklehead aircleaner. Hammerformed off corse, even the ribs. A little fast fun projekt.

Hey guys:
Was hoping to post somthing by this time but the better half needed to have a hip revision and the doc wouldn't let me in on the repairsI guess the little woman maybe happy about thatdo want to know if your going to build a ewheel would you go ahead and do 1/4 X 4 X6 for the stiffness even if your just doing 20 gage just so you can go bigger if you want?

Kenny, you didn't give a throat depth. Without that, the tubing size is pretty meaningless. Might be fine for a 26-28 but useless for a 36 or 48...
