Default Hello from Eastern Canada

Just joined and hoping to get some help with my future projects when I get them going. I see a few names I remember from metalmeet.

Never did get my ewheel finished yet but hope to very soon.

Glad to see Joe Andrews and Kerry Pinkerton here as they both were a very big help in my ewheel design and build.

Welcome aboard from a fellow Canadian.

What kind of projects will you be getting into?

My main goal is Motorcycle tanks and tins but hope to move into some auto stuff as well. I have a 28 Chrysler Truck I am going to rod someday soon and it's going to take a lot of sheet metal work to build the cab right.

I still have much to learn and I am still practicing my tig welds on sheet metal.

CHRYSLER truck? I knew that Plymouth and Dodge made trucks way back but didn't know Chrysler did. Got any photos?

Well Kerry you caught me. It was a model 52 that was supposed to be design to be made into a truck. The back would come off and hook to the door posts. Someone did this many years ago. I am only the 5th owner of it and I got it from my uncle who purchased it in 55. Here are a couple pic's my grandmother took of it the day I pulled it out of the old barn. I have sand blasted all the parts since then and stored it until I have the time and money to do what I want.

I also included a pic of the body as it is today.

Sorry Kerry, I forgot to to that as I know you guys are big on names.

Thanks for the comments on the old Chryslar. It is pretty cool and I hope it comes together the way I want someday.

Hello, jamlit, glad to see another Bluenoser on here. Your truck looks great. If you travel to the south west of N.S., send me a pm and we can meet up
