Why do pics load backwards in albums?

I don't know Mike. I think it's the nature of the beast in this version of Vbulletin. None of us are expert VBB admins.

I don't use albums personally, attachments seems to work better for the sagas because you can put the photos in the text where you want them, or rather write your text around the photos.

Kerry,

To write around a photo from your album, place your cursor just outside the lower right hand corner of the picture pasted into your post from your album. This would be just like placing your cursor after the last word of a sentence. Click enter a time or two, add text, click enter a time or two, add another picture from your album and repeat as often as you would like. This works best with two windows open. Toggle back and forth between the post and the album.

I understand Jim but if something happens to the album, the link becomes broken.

On MM do the photos in albums show 'backward to load order' like Mike is seeing here?

The album is part of the forum now, not linked to the forum using an off site photo sharing site like the old original Vbulletin forum that MM started with or some still use to post with. If the album is gone, so is the forum - at least as I understand it. I don't know what would happen if a poster deleted his album or some of the pictures. I don't think this would be a problem though, as the pictures are pasted to the post the way I do it. Many of the pictures I post are done as you do with an attachment. It just depends on whether I start an album or not (and my mood at the time ).

Yes, the album photos do show backwards. One of the Vbulletin oddities I guess.

Mike, the way it works is the NEWEST image is the first one. That actually makes sense and would have been the way I designed it if I were still doing software. Yeah, it seems backward if you want the album to show a series of one event but many folks just post a couple photos and then a couple months later a couple more...they want the newest photos first.

Just the way it.
