carl, thank you yes it's a big job, biggest i've taken on but not by much lol i've done some rough cars when i lived back in sheffield lol.

charlie, thank you i think i'm paying you too much , there are many people on here with talent far above my level, but it makes us all want to be better.

richard, thank you pal how is the beema coming on? i keep looking for updates...

gone for the race look by putting holes around the frame, i am making a tool to bevel the holes like the dimple dies do, the holes are only 16mm dia so quite small. also altered the frame differently to accept the grille compared to the first engine lid. also got the centre brace done to attach it to the hinges

Looking fabulous Neil and the boot lid isn't bad either Nearly back on the BMW - kids got me back into sickles last year, Barbara diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which hopefully we are now in remission from, then I foolishly agreed to build a Ducati Imola tank for a friend of a friend as a training exercise for the Group 5. Not far of finished this now and I'll do a post of my trials and tribulations.
