Default converting stomp shear to power?

I've got a pexto shear and came across this add,

http://www.centralwestmachine.net/shearmaster.htm

I was wondering if anyone has done this or dealt with this company or any thoughts on taking the stomp out of the shear.

Here is a homemade jobber I cam across It's interesting that they made it so you can still use the stomp if you want, or use the power quiet interesting.

I have a Pexto shear like the one pictured. For what I use if for I can't see converting it to a power shear. Haven't had any problems with the manual operation. I agree that the set up pictures is interesting.

Depends on who is using the stomp shear. I'm kinda useless when it comes to a stomp shear.....it's often a Use Both Feet and JUMP shear, sometimes a Grab a Buddy to Help Out shear. Of course, I weigh in at around 160.

That is an interesting set up!

My father made his Pexto (48-16) air operated in the 60's it was the first shear I used. Worked great!
It does not work smoothly. It would have to build up the pressure in the cylinders then POW! BANG! (that was the noise it made when it went thru the material.)
