Post Introduction

My name is John Christensen. I am an automotive fabricator in the Denver Colorado area. My dad was a machinist who also had a small machine shop at home. I was exposed to metal work at the age of 10. I have an associate degree in welding. I also earned an education degree and intended to teach shop in a public H.S. At the time I graduated the school systems in my region cut back or eliminated shop in the schools. I fell back on my metal working experience and worked for machine shops and manufactures until starting on street rod and drag car work. I am 60 and now my focus is on metalshaping.

Johnny, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Glad to see one of the old members post and hope to see more post from you. We would love to see some of your hot rod and drag car work.
