Research reveals an old Bobtail Race truck update
A have been doing a little more research lately and I discovered this project that I had worked on a long time ago. This trucking company was kind enough to provide me the tractor that I used during the NASCAR 'stuff' that I did. I modified the radiator metal work, some underneath panels and the side panels below the doors and the foot steps. This is the truck that I built the independent front suspension for that I posted a few years back. Remember that this was many years before I was acquainted with you metal shaping guys.

Not sure how to add this picture to the above post.
The tractor in this picture is the tractor that the Douglas and sons trucking company provide to me for the duration of my NASCAR career. They paid all the license and trip permits, polished the wheels on their truck and my trailer, and paid for all the fuel. They were VERY good to me. a3.jpg

Great stuff, Will.
I've got to ask- is there a Matthews Construction NASCAR tractor in the works...?

Will, that is some great support for an independent team. Makes the professional presentation complete!
