Default fire annealing

The large fires out here in CA for the past two years have left behind a LOT of steel tools that went to 2300F and then cooled very slowly, leaving a nice annealed condition. Hammerheads that are cleaned up and re-handled without being re-hardened will be soft, no matter how long ago they were burned.
We are going through some of the old burned hand tools, re-hardening them, cleaning and re-handling them to get them back in service.

None are for sale, but are being done just for the owners.
If some happen to come up as "rescues" from the fires, chances are they can be saved, nicely.
