Intro
Hi,
I'm an engineer and retired in the sense that I'm not currently working for money. I spent most of the last decade years building a Farrier F82 trimaran from Carbon, glass, epoxy, and foam. One of my projects is a Bridgeport Interact CNC mill which I will convert to Linux sometime in the future. My main interest in this site relates to another project. This is yet another Aston, not one worth spending a fortune on but a DBSV8. Still a fun car to throw petrol or Avgas at though. It has lots of chassis rot and a long time ago I bent it during a 'time trial'. The rot I can deal with but I need to learn a lot about shaping metal. I'm not currently in Melbourne so my projects are not accessible to me so at the moment I just want to get my head around the techniques employed. cheers, Richard.
