Default new member intro

i'm emmett. i've been interested in metal/metal work for years. even beat a copper bowl - twenty years ago. about 6 years ago i got a mig and learned some about welding thin steel. then i got the ox/acetylene rig with some small tips. i'm learning to do sculpture in steel. my next project will probably require some chasing and repousse (sorry about the spelling). so i thought reading posts from people who have been there and done that would keep me from wasting too much time.
