Default Don't haze the new guy

Hello, my name is Jim and I've just joined from the North Dallas area. I suspect that I'm a bit of an outlier as members go. I am a tax and securities lawyer and business owner with a passion for building period correct hot rods. I've built a few cars in my garage but the wife got fed up with the mess and noise so I've recently built a modest shop where I can expand my operations. If I can figure out how to post a pic I'll show you what I've done so far. Looking forward to increasing my metal shaping skills to improve my results and efficiency for future projects.

Jim

I was thinking the opposite- having a tax lawyer around here (i.e.- on OUR side...) might be a good thing.

Welcome to the forum, Jim. Glad to have you here. Looking forward to your project pics.

Welcome to the form. And yes, a tax lawyer on our side is a good thing. You'll find people from all walks of life here. I'm an electrical engineer who designs power electronics, motor drives, and controls professionally.

I'm a retired aluminium fabricator turned metal sculptor. Tax lawyer, did you say? Welcome.
