Needed informations for a Ford 1934 rear panel
Hello everyone,
My next metalshaping exercice will be a Ford 1934 rear quarter panel. But because I don't have any original parts available, could someone give me the folowing dimensions : For the Top bead and the wheel arch bead (because I think they don't have the shame shape), I would like to know A, B, C and R. If the shapes are different, please, tell me. Thank you very much in advance !!

As you are in France, I would think your best coarse would be to find someone that could make a paper pattern for you and do some profiles of the "beads". I'm working on a '33 Willys and had the same problem. My answer was to have a quarter moulded (fiberglass) by a person that had a car mould. I would think finding a glass quarter for a Ford would be a lot easier. Then you would have a permanent tool to reference.

Thank Norson for your answer.
Sorry for the delay of my answer. I don't know people in France having this kind of parts. But I will follow your tip and try to find someone.

Pat try asking your question here:The H.A.M.B.
Someone at that forum should be able to give you an answer.

Tried to help but failed
My radius gage for machining is not large enough to measure my '34 panel. I can tell you your dimension "A" is also a radius.
Sorry not being able to help.

Thank you both for your tips and information.
Yes, I already know the HAMB, I will test it. I am not surprised that A is not flat. Thanks !
