some of my first shapes
I'm super new to the world of metal shaping and in my quest to understand the medium I have had the privilege of working with Joe Hartson a few weekends in his shop. He has been a great teacher and has explained a lot about my new found interest. I know this isn't exactly a first "project" but more some of my first shapes and things.... Thanks Joe!
My very first shape... http://allmetalshaping.com/attachmen...1&d=1343949656 I'm learning to form by hand first then working into machines as my skills progress. Its cool to play on the wheel though... http://allmetalshaping.com/attachmen...1&d=1343949753 Doing some shrinkin. http://allmetalshaping.com/attachmen...1&d=1343949862 http://allmetalshaping.com/attachment.php? attachmentid=17468&stc=1&d=1343949926 You guys may know this guy... We will work on getting the pictures to show but it may take a little while. I am not sure what will have to be done to make them show.

shapes
Joe seriously I have saved some small shapes I have done lately . I guess I'm proud of them even the screwed up ones because I learned something from each one. I really wanted to see someone elses experience.
Forgive the humor Please,Gerry
