Hi All;

Does anybody know why most Bead Rollers have two tractioning shafts -by means of the two back gears- instead just one, having the bottom roller being turned just by friction?

Steve, advice from others is all good so far. My 2 cents: By 'Crank" do you actually mean a crank? My own hand powered solo bead rolling accuracy improved a lot after I replaced my original equipment crank with an old steering wheel. I am tall, but even still I had to spread my arms quite a bit to see and steer with one hand while cranking with the other. The wheel put my turning arm in a better position.
