Default New member from Switzerland

Hi guys, I'm Mitch from the tiny beautiful Switzerland. I'm 56, owner of a few bikes (1986 Yamaha Vmax, 1973 Kawasaki Z900, 1981 SWM 125 &250), 2007 mustang GT and the new arrival a 1954 F100. This one I went to see in San Diego last May and had it sent over in July. Planning to chop the top and will definitely need some advice. Thanks for all the info I'll be able to get from this site and members.

Default welcome

Welcome Mitch,

Switzerland sure is a beautiful place, lived and worked there for 2 years (Triengen 1990,1991) as a young bloke then went back (1998) for 6 month and got married there, then went back (2014)with the kids and wife 4 weeks, then spent summer there last year (2018) bloody hot and dry last year I have never seen Switerland so dry before so got a real soft spot for the place.

Any how have a good time here lots of helpfull people.

Scott

Welcome to the group Mitch.
Schweitz has some great craftsmanship, music, and mountain life.
Had a friend there who had a nice shop, doing Vincents, race bikes and other collectibles.

(I put a turbo'd 340 Dodge in an old '54 long ago. And I put the big back window in one in '74, using all original seams and spot welds. I know of a very custom '56 that sold for $1M ...)
Anyway, viele grüßen.
