Default Gasolene TV - Mick Curson

I am the producer of a television show called Gasolene TV that screens in Australia on Channel 31.

We are blessed with the worlds best metal shaper and you can view some of his work online with the clips I have published on YouTube. (You should see what he can do with just a hammer!)

http://www.gasolene.biz

Interested in your thoughts. Delighted to hear what you think of the show :-)

Regards Mick

Tom is brilliant and a fine gentleman too. He loves to help and show the old school methods and practices. He dedicates his whole life to educating in the metal trades.

I have seen some footage very interesting- we don't have anything like that on TV here in the UK. Tom is obviously a great craftsman it might be a bit rash to say he is the best in the world as there are many great 'metalshaping' craftsmen in the UK and the rest of the world.

I wish we had TV like that.

Thanks for posting!

(David, is it rash that I think you are one of the best in the world?)

Chris. To say one of- is different! Thank you for the complement but I know of many other guys who are on par or better than me. I am sure the guys on gasoline TV are among the best, the work they do is great.

All the guys who work here are superb www.vintagecars.com and the guys at Contour Autocraft www.contourautocraft.com thats just two there are dozens here and many more across the world. No big deal I just couldn't let it go unsaid!.

David

I just thought I would add another few for good measure www.lynxmotors.co.uk and www.rodjolley.com I worked very briefly at Rods, they have built bodies for some of the most valuable cars in the world including the silver arrow auto unions. www.shapecraft.com is another http://www.crailville.com there are loads. Its a bit of a tradition here. In the States you have Fay Butler, Scott knight and others.

By the way Mick more power to your elbow (as we say) for producing a TV program of this nature.
