Ray, that is also one of my concerns, will it crack? Will it stay? If I had my todays knowledge one year ago I would have done it in a different way for sure!
I actually put a lot of Sikaflex on the rear side between both welded panels. Sikaflex sticks like hell and I hope it will help avoiding vibration cracks! Thanks for your comments!

Hi Mike
standstill at the moment, I have found a new home with a 200ft waterfront here in Hamburg. The house is from 1896, an old captains house, and I am restoring it now. My old house is sold for a very good price and all my stuff is stored away at the moment. Wife and kids are pushing so there is no time to build anything except things for the house. But many thanks for asking! I hope to have a new shop next spring, and if everything works out I will continue my car for sure. Best regards, Axel
