What do you have to attach to the CP "yokes" when you get them? You might need to know that the big handheld weighs 27 lbs, bare.

I have a later model CP handheld... not sure if that was actually your question or not.

Yes I know they are very heavy. I did end up sourcing one from Dan Pate but also made a 34" reach yoke out of DOM. It weighs enough that I can only use it for a few minutes at a time, especially in an awkward position.

Okay, so you are maybe looking for the smaller yokes since you have the big size? They made a small forged steel yoke for a while. Really stiff. I'll keep my eyes open for the smaller yokes, then.

Sorry this is late but I appreciate it.

Would anyone be interested in the forged frames if I produced some? I've been in the forging business since I was essentially a child.

Still interested in more of these. It's amazing how many frames you need to be truly prepared for anything.

Let me know if you have anything available.

Thanks,

D

There are quite often frames for sale on Instagram. Seems like there are a handful of guys on there that hoard them like gold. I have almost pulled the trigger (pun intended) on several four-piece-sets but it's a big chunk of my tool budget at once.

I run across them as well but most times as a package deal with a hammer, which I don't need.
