Alloy magnets are easy and you already have them , just put another magnet on the other side of the aluminum. So you end up with 2 magnets pulling into each other with a piece of aluminum sandwiched in between them, that’s all there is to it. ~ John Buchtenkirch

if you have strong enough magnets they will hold through the alloy.

Speaking of Magnets, the best and cheapest ones are out crashed computer hard drives....make sure you keep them in a plastic bag to prevent metal grindings attaching to them.
