Thanks gents.
All the sheet work is 1.6 5005 alloy. The rivets solids are 3/16 The pop rivets are also 3/16 , they are a structural rivet alloy for alloy and steel rivets when fixing to the frames. I have been using pop rivets on double skins and frames. I have etch primed all the panels and I will paint them. Jim

Thank you for sharing. In the first post you mentioned 'bonding'. Can you elaborate? What kind of drawings did you receive? Hand drawn, printed, electronic? Can you post a pic of one of the drawings? (no hurry).

With the bonding, I am using a sealer/adhesive between the panels, I will post the name tomorrow as I cant remember.
It is made in Belgium, I used it on my GT40 in some areas and I was shocked at how strong it was. The drawings where hand drawings. I searched for 2 years for info but their is not a lot out their. A customer came in one day and we where talking and he said that a friend of his built one, I asked for and introduction ,so I got to meet the man. Apparently he had a real car for 3-4 days and he measured it up. I have seen his work ,he is a excellent craftsman. I straight up asked him if he would hand out the info, he came back about a month later with about 40-50 drawings of frames ,body profiles some suspension wheels and some mechanical parts. I then copied them and gave them back. I used all the frame drawings and used the measurements and design the tub chassis. I then did a bit of a redesign on the suspension to suit the packaging. I then put the suspension into susprog 3 suspension analyzer and tweeked it. It has taken about 6months in my spare time drawing and getting a plan to work off. There are gaps in the info but then you use photos or make it up. I will post one of the drawings tomorrow, camera is at work. Jim

No hurry, Jim, I do not want to copy anything, I am just very interested in drawings of machines and cars, and this a very interesting project.

I'll be watching this one too and I'm curious about the drive train you plan to use. Details?
