Default Hello from Shasta County,ca

Just stumbled across your site and as it is all about shaping/working metal had to join. Brief history- spent 20 years doing production pattern making and production casting for the jewelry industry. Have spent the last 23 years blacksmithing and of that the last 5 have been in rural Shasta County where we have an off the grid house and large off the grid shop where we do our blacksmithing. Being off the grid adds a whole new wrinkle to working!!! You will never take being grid tied for granted again!!! Bob.

Hi Bob,

Good to have you on group.

The sheet metal projects and techniques shown on this site are inspiring and informative. If you see another way show us what your experience taught you, as some one on group posts "There's many way's to get're done".

OH Joe (just above) is the fellow with saying "----there are many roads to town"

Hello Bob:
Good to see another Blacksmith joining this site.

Are you a member of CBA or ABANA?

Bob thanks for the reply.

I have sold my hammers all over the world and have never had one come back. Word of mouth travels fast in blacksmithing. Hope you enjoy your hammer for many years to come.

I use mine quite a bit in metal shaping although the tooling is quite different.
