little update,

a couple of years ago i called up to see peter armed with the first 1/4 panel i had made. after listening to peter talk about the panel i had made, to which i said 'i know it fits but i know it could be better' so he proceeded to give me advise on the way he would do it in two pieces. just before i left he said he could do it in one piece, and with admiring the holden 1/4 panel hanging on his wall i knew he could!

but! it has stayed with me since then and after making 4 panels for the drivers side, i thought why not give it a go! it's the first one for this side lol. i took a paper pattern from the drivers side and cut it out of a sheet.

just after some hammering and some gentle bending

That looks great, Neil.

Gotta ask- are you going to make a second one from one piece to hang on the wall....?

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.
