Will,
I'd be interested in attending if there are still spots available.

Eric, It's nice to see you here, my friend. Am already making improvements, including getting the Model A motor running and in the speedster. Thanks for your help recently.

It looks like there will be a lot of interest in gas welding aluminum this time. I have acquired another gas saver and small hoses, etc. from TinMan Kent White and am setting up an additional table near the other gas welding table, so that two folks can work together.

I learned the most about gas welding aluminum from talking to Kent and using his Mecco torch, but also have a Henrob torch that we can use, and have asked him to help me outline a complete list of his approach to this process. His thinking about the width of the HAZ and heating and cooling rates and how that effects weld density, along with the fact that the flux and cooling rate effect weld bead porosity has helped me understand a few things better, and we can discuss that as well.

I am also interested in actually riveting the body on the speedster as opposed to the 'bolts' that you have seen, so I am hoping to learn some more about riveting. Peggy wants a hood built for her second hand John Deer lawn mower. I have uncovered the Kirksite bucks for installing fender wells in Model A fenders, and have sent drawings to the water jet man for the Bugatti Grill, headlight, steering wheel and rear fenders, so there might be some buck building and aluminum panel work to be done as well.

Don't know if I can make it, but I sent a little box of debris for your attendees to root through, Will. Good to see the enthusiasm is high.

Hi Will, it's on my bucket list, not this year sorry to say but the way things are going for me here, it may well happen.
