Default Hello from Boring

Greetings, I have been retired now for about 2 years. I have been doing my own work on cars since I was a kid. I was lucky to have some one that showed me how to do bodywork years ago. I have been following MP&C on another web site. Robert's work has inspired me to change the way I did my metal work.
For about 5 years I have been using the techniques that Robert has demonstrated.
The expertise of moving the metal and the knowledge of how to do it makes for some great reading. Trying to do what has been shared is a hard stop sometimes but always worth the try.
I have done restorations, street rods, race cars and engine swaps.
I currently own:
1956 f-100 Big Window
1959 Ghia
1973 Datsun 510
1977 Nissan 200sx race car
3 tractors
My goal here is to learn everything I can about metal shaping and apply it in my shop.

Gregor

Welcome Gregor,

There are a few folks that are our neighbors here on this forum, I'm in SW Portland and a beginner home hobbyist just trying to get the hang of metal work for car restoration work too.

Mine are Morris Minors of various models, years, and condition.

Maybe a local shop class is in order as more folks from the area are joining all the time.
