Default New to the forum

I have just changed jobs, after 24.5 years, and I am setting up a small machine shop. I purchased a new band saw, a 1974 Bridgeport, and a Sheldon EM-56-6 lathe. This lathe is very different from lathes that I have operated and I am hoping to find a user's manual for it or similar lathe.

Welcome to AllMetalShaping Steve. This site is not a machining site other than how it can be used to make tools for shaping sheet metal.

That said try: http://www.lathes.co.uk/ for info on your lathe.
