Need Help pickinh up a sheet metal part in Amelia, Ohio
I want to bid on a sheet metal part on EBay, but the seller will not ship. It is in a wooden box about 12" x 12" by about 3-1.2 - 4ft long and might weigh about 30 pounds. It is in Amelia, Ohio just Southeast of Cincinnati. I would be willing to pay for gas, and am thinking some one might pick it up and bring it to Oblong. If you might be able to help, or have a better idea, please PM me or email me at: wildcad@comporium.net
I live pretty far south in Rock Hill, S.C. Thanks in advance for any workable ideas.

Could you not get UPS or another courier to collect? When I specify no postage I often get buyers who arrange their own collection. Daft as it sounds, it's often cheaper to pay a courier than it is for fuel costs. Just a thought.

Hey Will try UShip as well. You can contract someone and they will pick it up and deliver it to you. Might take a few weeks but it is a good alternative.

Shipping an item.
Will,
Try a local moving company. I had an item picked up and packed by a van line and I had a trucking company pick it up at the dock. I was charged $60. an hour for a truck and one man. Eddie Lawson

Hey, wait....Eddie Lawson was known as "steady Eddie", not Fast Eddie. The nickname "Fast" was given to "Fast Freddie Spencer."
OK, so I'm lost in a GP racing time warp.............
