Another gidday from Aus
I like fiddling with racing cars & the like, so metal working is pretty important to me.
I've got a fairly comprehensive workshop here so I'd like to learn more about various fabrication techniques. |

Welcome to the forum Bill.

Thanks guys.
Here's a couple of my cars. My (now crashed :( ) Sports 1300 racer. http://www.billzilla.org/racersimple.jpg My road-going Fraser Clubman. http://www.billzilla.org/fsrjuly.jpg Got a few others that'll need a lot of fabrication done on them as well. |
Bill check out some of the post here about those cars, they might help you

Hi Bill and Welcome.:)

Thanks blokes - I really want to make the metalwork nice on the cars so I'll have to visit here when the time comes to try to get the good info.
I've got TIG, MIG, electric, and gas welders. An english wheel, shrinker/stretcher, and planishing hammer, folder/bender/roller, etc, so a fair range of gear to work with. True enough they are the cheaper type but ya gotta start somewhere hey? |
Hey Bill!
you've got to much equipment...... |
