Hi Tigerbill and welcome!:)

Welcome
My interest started in metalwork solely due to my Tiger.
That was in 1976!
Got rid of the Tiger in 1979, busmans holiday etc.
Never started the restoration but bought it back again about 2002.
Virtually finished my new workshop, learnt loads from this and other forums (Im still no good), acquired all the equipment ready to play in earnest.
I still havent started my Tiger!
I have built up all the spares and bits and pieces, just in kit form.
My first task, nearly ready to go, is N/S sill panel, based on original O/S NOS panel.
I think I will have earnt the experience, hopefully not too frustrating.
In the meanwhile, best of luck with your Tiger.

Welcome to the board!

Always wanted a Tiger, as we had a '67 Sunbeam Alpine. My Dad bought it in 1968 for my Sister to commute to college, who loved her little red sports car. Best one was Sis was out washing the Alpine in a bikini, with her bright red hair... fellow driving down the street wasn't paying attention off the road by a couple of feet, hitting and snapping a wooden 4x4 sign post in two... and kept on driving.

Loved the Sunbeam, but ended up with a '67 Datsun 2000 to go Tiger hunting with. :D

Hi Bill, welcome to the forum. I restored the body of an alpine and did some work on a Tiger. Lots of rot to contend with and the replacement panels I could find were not good.

If I don't understand something I ask! What does a Tiger look like, and who makes them?:dunce:

Google Sunbeam Tiger and then think Shelby, poor mans Cobra!
