Hello everyone
Hi, I hope I'm in the right place for introductions. My name is Tom, I'm 72 and I live in Glendale AZ. (Phoenix) I collect cars and have been doing so since the early '50's. I've always had a fascination with restoration activities, metal working especially. I also have quite an intrest in custom coachwork as in the '30's. I do have some metalworking skills but am always trying to do better. I've made patch panels, filled in a lot of door handles, frenched head and tail lights and chopped a top (34 ford). I've made many of my tools and am mostly self tought. Of course in the almost sixty years I've been fooling with this stuff, I've met a lot of people and I try to learn what I can from each one. My big goal is to build my own Delahaye style roadster including the chassis. But before that, I have several cars that need restoring and a couple that need rerestoring. I'm sure I would get quite a lot from the site, I hope I can contribute at least something.
Tom
