Hello!

Hi All. I'm Martin and I run Metal Shaping and Classic Car and Bike Restoration Courses in Manchester UK. I wanted to join this forum as I think its a great way of learning and most importantly sharing skills so that we can all improve. I've always looked at posts etc but thanks to a few guys in the UK our courses have been mentioned so thought I would take the plunge and join! Thanks Martin

Hi Martin
Yes - Chloe said she had been in touch with you. Thank you very much for getting in touch with us and for mentioning us on here. Its great there is the interest.

Hi Galooph its great you both arent far from us. I think Clo is going to try and organise a UK get together. We can host it at ours - we have the workshops and some accommodation so could do it... I will leave that bit up to Chloe (!!) maybe on a new thread and see what the response is like!

Thanks Martin

Welcome Martin.

I see that you're using a cobra buck for your coarses. Based on the RAM sc in the other picture? Nice car and nice chassis.

My first practise is also on a Cobra poly buck.

Cheers,

Frank

The Cobra is on my bucket list and it would be great to see how Martin has done his shells, where the joins are etc.
What's your prefered welding method for aluminium and steel gas or tig Martin?
