Lots of rust in Denmark
Hi
I'm 43 years old living in Denmark with my wife two kids and a rough Collie dog. I've been working on old american cars and hot rods my whole life. The first car I restored was a 1961 Galaxie 2dht Restored to original. It came from California so it had very little rust but a lot of dents. I bought it in 1989 and I still have it and uses it every summer. My main project rigght now is my 1937 Ford 2 door slantback hot rod. I picked it up in California 6 years ago. It was a running car with a lot of good parts used. unfortunately it also had some hidden rust, and I needed to redo both the frame (To be able to get it licenced in Denmark) and a lot of rust and dent repair on the body too. Status now is that the frame is ready and assembled. All rust repair finished All loose body parts primered with epoxy and I'm doing all the block sanding and bondo work myself. Next project waiting is my 1929 model A coupe. Right now it sits and wait. The roof is chopped 4 inches and a little rust repair have been done. It's going to have a Ford FE with a tri power setup and a manual tremec transmission. I hope I'm alowed to join allmetalshaping? I would like to learn more tricks and tips. Look pretty cool. Is the x member in the frame home build or is it a orginal like the 1933 frame?
