The new guy from cincinnati

Hey guys and gals,

Im some what new to the metal shaping scene. I have been building hotrods for about 4 years now and love it, and, last year i built my first harley. As a young guy i am here to just soak up as much info and knowledge as i can from you all here on the site.

When i was really young i was very atistic and loved making sculptures in art class (clay and stuff). Just recently got back into making some metel sculptures. I worked as an aluminum tig welder for a while and fell in love with tig welding. So even though i have to use my dads welder i have fun doing it. I have made some jewlery (spoon rings, steel roses) and a rabbit that held a candle in is hands out of a baseball bat and rot iron, in the past and it was really fun. So i hope you can welcome me and teach me something along the way.

Thanks,
Jordan

Jordan, welcome to our group. There is a lot of information on the site about shaping sheet metal. Take a look around and you will probably learn a lot. When you start a sheet metal shaping project post some pictures and if you have questions someone will try to answer them for you.

Hi Jordan, Welcome to the site. Having a good eye and being artistic means you are half way there. Its nice to see younger people interested in this old craft.

David

Welcome Jordan!
If you read the post and check out the pictures you will learn something, even if it is by accident :)
